I'm testing GSS 3.0 (HF5) on a Windows Server 2012 R2 machine with limited diskspace on the system drive (C:\).
On my first installation attempt I set the GSS Share to D:\GSS, and it installed though I had to retry a couple of times as it would not accept a blank license file at first. When I tried to run the HF5 upgrade it failed when trying to restart the services and just rolled back at the end.
Basically I want to keep all the application files on the system drive and just have the ghost image files on the deployment drive (D:\).
I could try copying the "Images" folder to D: and then creating a junction in "C:\Program Files (x86)\Altiris\eXpress\Deployment Server\" but I'd rather hear if an accepted solution was already in place.
I've been looking through the documentation and googled but haven't found anything.
Kind regards
