Dagent not displayed anymore, client PC can not be managed

I need a solution

Hello,

We are using Ghost Solution Suite 3.3RU3 for OS deplyoment and McAfee Endpoint Security 10.x for anti-virus on the client PC's which are running Windows 10 Enterprise 1909.

Recently we encountered (again) the problem dagent not to be displayed anymore in sys tray and the client PC not be managed any longer.

Support tickets about this issue had been opened at both vendors month ago and both are playing "ping pong" on customers back with no real progress in solving the root cause of the issue and blaming each other.

Up to now we followed TECH256104 and disabled AMSI inside the McAfee product. This allowed the agent to be displayed and the client Pc to be managed by ghost management console

Due to security reason we started deployment of the recent version of the McAfee Endpoint Security and run into former problem again, means the ghost agent is not shown and can not be managed anymore.

All systems are affected where the McAfee Endpoint 10.7.* got installed. Here disabling AMSI in McAfee ENS did not workaround the issue with Dagent as in past.

Following had been installed on the PC's

McAfee Endpoint Security Platform 10.7.0.1285

McAfee Threat Protection 10.7.0.1415

McAfee Adaptive Threat Protection 10.7.0.1285

McAfee Threat Protection 10.7.0.1415

McAfee Web Control 10.7.0.1086

Are there other's which are affected by similar problem?

Any hint how to get this issue solved?
